Suffering from chronic gum disease i was referred to Mr Andrew Barber for specialist treatment. The treatment was explained to me in great detail and options explored. Following treatment my gums were now healthy but had receded further. Mr Barber made a template of my upper teeth and remaining gum, and two weeks later a gingival veneer had been made from the template to cover the unsightly receding gums. This veneer, not expensive, pain free and simple to keep clean has recreated a normal healthy looking gum which in turn has given me my confidence back to the extent that that I now smile in public again. Treated at the terrace dental centre in newmarket i cannot fault the service, the results, nor the attitude of any of the employees who are always extremely polite and professional. Highly reccomend this treatment for anyone who has suffered from long term gum disease.

From my very first appointment with Mr Barber he was always very caring with the way he treated me, and I always felt that he really cared. He took all the time necessary with every appointment and I never once felt like he was rushing to get to his next patient. He always took the time to explain all the options available and the pros and cons of each. When it came to my final treatment the results were amazing and I can honestly say the confidence he has given me has changed my life. Mr Barber has transformed my mouth. I was treated as an NHS patient having had a cleft palate. I had been wearing a plate with dentures for fourth years, this has resulted in my chewing teeth suffering disintegration and very unhealthy gums. Over a two year period I have had a bridge with two front teeth fitted and three implants to back teeth. Mr Barber listened to my expectations and has communicted explaining what would happen at each stage of the treatment. Attention to detail and diligence gave me assurance that the set of teeth I now have is the best outcome that could be achieved. I am so thankful and will miss my regular visits to Mr. Barber and his great team at Addenbrokes.
